dial signed Chandler & Ward / Concord; paper label on interior of case Made by Moses Hazzen, Joiner & Cabinet Maker, New Hampshire
pierced fret, original brass steeple finials; painted moon-phase dial; inlaid pin wheel to base; back of moon dial is engraved Osborn's/Manufactory/Birmingham, 90.5"h incl. 6" finial; 19"w; 9.5"d (no weights, or key)

Restorer's 2002 note: stating that the clock has been "cleaned...oiled...pivots polished..thirteen bushings installed at the worn pivot holes...verge pallets polished...rack spring repaired using the original parts...etc...Everything on this clock movement looks to be correct and original. The dial especially, is bright and clean with little or no wear to the detail...The bottoms of both plates are arched in typical New Hampshire style..."
