circular etched bone label 508 on 3-tiered mahogany case with brass bale side handles, 6"h; 5.25"sq.
Thomas Earnshaw (1749-1829) is known as The Father of the Chronometer.
Lots 1-35 are from the private collection of a Connecticut gentleman.
Overhauled in 1996; surface discoloration on brass rim. Hand on seconds dial moves. We are not going to wind the chronometers.
