19TH C. CHILD'S SLED
possible made in Paris, Maine

HARRY 1873, four stars, and a horse; iron side rails and runners,
40" long; 11""w (not incl. rails)
Harry Bragdon (1861-1908) from Fitchburg, MA was the original owner of this sled. His daughter (1899-1992) gave the sled to her friend, Rose Marie, who is the mother of the consignor. The consignor's mother father collected dolls and toys for many years creating a small museum for the enjoyment of the patients and their families at the nursing home which they operated in the 1950's.
