Attached note by Bill Samaha. "Down East steamship built in 1849, the 'Ocean' ran between Bath, Maine and Bethel, Massachusetts. It was rammed off Boston Harbor November 24, 1854 by the arriving 'Cunardic' Canada. All passengers were rescued by a passing steamship."
