late 18th c., American market; a set of (13) gold rimmed plates with family crest, 7.5" (five are good, the rest with faint hairlines and minor rim chips) ; a blue trimmed teapot with berry finial, strap handle (faint hairline), and initialed family crest; a small deep dish with family crest, 6.5"; an oval monteith with armorial crest to each side, 4"h, 11.5"w; 7"d (one gilded handle with staple repair); and an armorial bough pot, 9.5"(as is, one handle on side missing)
Descended through the original Rhode Island family owners to the present. Family history says the porcelains were purchased directly off newly arrived ships docked at Providence Harbor.
