late 19th/early 20th c.; very similar to the above lot except a 3.5" hole in the top created when the table was adapted to collected money to be deposited through the hole into the drawer to prevent theft.

When our collectors lived in a Guatemalan village in the 1970's, the wife admired such tables. Soon after, a group of indigenous villagers knocked on their door and gifted her this and the previous table.
