Old hand written note: This was made by our grandmother Ann Beech, nee Muston who was married in 1814. She was instructed by an Italian or Frenchman it is thought about 2 years before her marriage to Joseph Beech of ..? as initials on back were then A M. She was born Feb. 4, 1789.;
From the private collection of a Boston couple purchased in London in 1999.
Very fine condition except for minor loss to base edge not seen unless turned over; very slightly hingebound.
