Works of Louis Feron are on exhibit at the MFA Boston.
Feron was born in Rouen, Normandy. In 1933 Feron won the Best Chaser, Gold and Silversmith of France for his work Head of Joan, now at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. He became an American citizen in 1951. In 1962 his wife and he established their workshop in Eaton, New Hampshire where they both lived until their deaths.
A bas-relief by Louis Feron carved on Honduras mahogany, 'Madonna and the Infant Jesus' is pictured in a 1962 National Sculpture Review magazine along with works by Morenon.
