Curry, Grant Wood and Thomas Hart Benton, were the three major artists of American Regionalism of the 1920's, 30's and 40's. All three artists were raised in the Midwest, their works depicting realist views of the local rural life.
Taken out of frame: there are three tiny surface abrasions (see photo)
