This piece was shown at an exhibition at the Worcester (MA) Museum of Fine Arts in 1954, and again at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts exhibit Art in Transition/A Century of the Museum School, March 23 -May 30, 1977, pg. 17, item #20 (catalogue included)
Morenon was an instructor of sculpture at the Cambridge School of Design from 1947 to 1952 and at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts School beginning in 1950. In 1955 he became head of the Department of Sculpture at the Museum of Fine Arts, holding this post for ten years.
