in old surface, molded top, long drawer over three side-by-side drawers, brasses appear original, scalloped skirt, cabriole legs ending in stockinged drake feet, 30.5"h; 36.75"w; 22"d

Provenance: Descended from the collection of George Meade Easby, a direct descendent of Cornelius Stevenson, the original owner of this dressing table which then descended to Cornelius' son, and then to his grandson. Family history states the table came to the younger Cornelius at the time of his marriage to Mary May (1786-1860), daughter of Adam May (d.1816) and his wife Catharine Diehl.
