rectangular-form with domed, hinged lid with engraved half round portraits of a gentleman and a lady (Patientia 1547) and two skulls and crossbones, the lid surmounted with a cross on a plinth; either end of lid with engraved images of Isaac and Abraham; the interior with three compartments with droppers with cherub head tops; the base has a total of eight engraved biblical figures including five women; engraved writing overall inc. in Latin Spes (hope), Charitas (charity); flat base; 4.75"h; 4.5"w; 3"d; 11.7 troy oz., 366 gr.
