blue enamel with gilt bodies and wings; (4) rectangular plaquettes of saints on blue enamel with gilt bodies and wings and applied heads, beaded edging, 2.25 by 2"; the fifth, a round plaquette with saint reading a book, 2.75"diam.; framed 10.5 by 7" (incl. key-hole pierced brass fretwork at top edge)
These probably originally adorned a liturgical book cover.
