Pabuji Ki Phad, Hindu folk deities
o/coarse fabric, 3'10" by 16'4" ; comes with fabric travel case
Painted and purchased in Bhilwara Rajasthan, N.W. Inida in the 1960's. Reportedly done by the last of the Phad artists. Scrolls such as these were used to illustrate a spoken narrative, often by traveling story tellers.
