In the far distance is the North Church steeple and a group of factories. After establishing workshops on Roxbury Street around 1780, all four Willard Brothers began producing clocks in large quantities. Their clock workshops relied on approximately 20 factories and workshops which supplied brass works, artistic painting, and other necessities. These workshops and factories were spread throughout a 400-meter radius of the Boston workshops.
