Legend has it..."About half way between Memphis and Nashville there's a little crossroads called Bucksnort, Tennessee. The only businesses are a gas station, a jail, hunting camps, and moonshine. The legend says "Buck" was the town's most prominent bootlegger, and all the locals would go to Buck's for a snort - hence the name."
