ENGLISH GEORGE III SILVER DEEP DISH, HEMING
hallmarked Thomas Heming (1745-1773), c. 1770, scalloped edge with gadrooned decoration, rim incised with elephant with tower on back, 11" diam.; 1" h; 22.1 troy oz.
Heming was the principal goldsmith to King George III.
Surface scratches from use in bowl.
