an early 19th c. Scandinavian lidded tankard, 8.5" (handle re-attached); an engine-turned tall vessel, 13"; and a burl pestle, 9.5"
From an historic Massachusetts home furnished and decorated with period furniture and accessories. The main house is dated 1794, the brick structure in the rear (now the kitchen) was once a tavern dated 1690. It was one of the few taverns which allowed Native Americans. The property was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
