THIS RHODE ISLAND GODDARD-TOWNSEND SCHOOL DISH TOP/CANDLE STAND WAS PURPORTEDLY BUILT FOR ANNE (WATERMAN-BUCKLIN)/GREENE, B.1753 AND DIED IN 1830./IT DESCENDED TO A. W. CLETT? IN 1912, AND THEN TO HANNAH/ WESCOTT OF PLYMPTON, MAM, FROM WHOM IT WAS PURCHASED C. 1985
