The Crest of the Kingdom of Siam was designed by this artist, HSH Prince Pravich Chumsai, in 1873.

The Siamese 1882 Exhibition, lasting 100 days, celebrated the 100th year of the establishment of Bangkok as the capitol of Siam. The original booklet states, "H.M. the King has graciously appointed Princes and Officers with specific duties to collect together articles in the Capitol and in the provinces and tastefully arrange them in groups to be placed in exhibition." There were 54 exhibition rooms and one theatrical hall. The Exhibition was to glorify the Chakri Monarchs who governed the kingdom to the hundredth year by displaying the King and Queen's treasuries and costumes and tributes.
