Prov.: An Italian gentleman and his family, of Jewish heritage, forced to flee from their home in Milan, Italy to Paris at the beginning of WWII taking with them as many works of art and family heirlooms as they could take. The works were stored in France until the family obtained passage to America. Lots 34-38B, and additional items in this sale, remained in the family to this time.
Some white spots under glass; a few small flakes to frame.
