Raffman, born in Salem, MA, was a well known concert pianist living in Worcester, MA. She graduated with highest honors from the New England Conservatory in Boston. She was a member of the piano faculty at the Indiana University School of Music, and also taught piano at Clark University. Ms. LaPlante Raffman gave recitals internationally, performed at the Brooklyn Museum, at Town Hall in New York, Jordan Hall in Boston, and the National Gallery in Washington. She was a soloist with the National Orchestral Association, the Boston Pops, and the Boston Symphony in its summer series.
