canted-dome lid, original wrought iron hinges, latch, lock plate and corner braces; overall panels of marquetry stars, 7.25"h; 9.75"w; 5.25"d
Ironwork appears never to have been reset; six old filled holes on back of lid; small triangular piece of inlay missing beneath escutcheon plate.
