c. 1800 or earlier, a tin glazed pitcher with panels of bird and floral decoration, 7.5"h; along with a SMALL DISH decorated with bird in wetlands setting, 7"diam.
This type of stylized landscape is one of the most encountered Mexican patterns derived from Chinese Export Ming Dynasty wares.
Pitcher has minor rim roughage; dish has rim repairs.
