Spanish fan pulls out of its wood case, with inset flirting mirror, a pull string retracts it, painted with bird and Ricordo, 10"; (2) cockade fans, a British gentleman's black silk fan, and a red leather and red silk fan, both with extended handles and open 360°, 9.5" and 9"; Chinese parasol green silk fan with ebonized teak handle and bone ring, 12"diam. when open; a red leather and silk fontange fan, 8.5" at mid point, 10.5"open; an 1893 Colombian Exposition Chicago World's Fair fan (as is, one guard stick broken, 3 fold splits)12.5"; a batik fan with horn sticks, 8"; (2) novelty Japanese fans, one with woodblock geisha leafs, 6.5"; the other painted butterfly tipped leafs tipped, 8"; a 19th c. Japanese fan with painted cherry blossoms, bone guard stick with applied gold lacquer blossoms, a poem about a goldfish was later written on one side in English, 11.5"; large Japanese fan with bamboo sticks, hand-painted sparrow, 13"
