FRANKLIN MINT BICENTENNIAL GOLD-LINED STERLING BOWL
No. 513 with Certificate of Authenticity (July 4, 1976) from limited edition of 750; circling the outer edge is chased frieze depicting scenes from American history; the interior is lined with 24 kt gold, 7"h; original box, 14"diam., printed description states weight of 150 troy oz. however it weighs 171 troy oz.
This bowl is believed to be the largest and heaviest commemorative silver bowl issued in the United States. No. 1 of this series was presented to President Gerald Ford.
