The consignor purchased it in Guatemala from a collection from which it had been acquired prior to 1940. The metal work is typical of Guatemalan early 1700's tortoise shell work.
From the extensive collection of a Connecticut gentleman who lived in Latin America for many years. This is the third installment of this collection to be sold by CRN Auctions.
Age appropriate cracks throughout.
