ARTS & CRAFTS GRUEBY/PARDEE TILE MOSAIC

Grueby was taken over by Pardee Tiles in Amboy, New Jersey around 1919.
Creamy glazes, as seen on these tiles, were specially developed for a thin, hard, white body, and are the kind of glazes used by Pardee after acquiring Grueby. Grueby maintained ownership of the still secret glaze recipes for which he received royalties.
One tile, lower left has corner crack.
