four graduated drawers with grained mahogany veneered fronts, original Rococo gilt brass hardware, ogee feet, 34.5"h; 36"w; 21"d
Inscription inside bottom drawer:
This bureau belonged/to my mother from 1761. Until her death/In the winter of 1849 it came to me by her directions./J.R...(illegible)
Fittings for top drawer missing. Yellow pine and poplar secondary wood.
