Dutch harbor overview

Ex: Descended in the Saltonstall Family of Massachusetts to present owner.
The harbor is probably Amsterdam. There two distinct fleets and two different house flags on the fore masts. Vessel on left is older design possibly a "Coaster" employed for coast wise trade. The vessel behind lighthouse/signal tower being larger is built for long voyages for the Dutch East India Trading Company. The Dutch controlled the West coast territory of India.
