From a New Hampshire mansion
The sculptures found at Hadrian's Villa in Tivoli in 1736 by Giuseppe Furietti, were based on the original Hellenistic or Roman marble sculptures dating from the 2nd century B.C. Furietti refused to give them to Pope Benedict XIV. Later sold by Furietti's heirs, they are now in Rome's Capitoline Museum.
