Two related highboys perhaps from the same primary shop are known. One almost identical example probably originally owned by Joseph Clarke (1749-1828) of Northampton was sold at Sothebys' in 2002, sale #7756, lot 423. The second example is currently in a private collection originally thought to be owned by a Lucy King (b. 1751) and Daniel Norton (b. 1751) who married in Suffield, Connecticut in 1790. (According to comments by the Kugelman's, authors of Connecticut River Valley Furniture.
