The sterling placard, inset in mahogany plaque, is engraved with autographs of each member of the Red Sox team. It was presented to Hall of Famer DiMaggio on Joe DiMaggio Day, October 1, 1949 at ceremonies in his honor at Yankee Stadium. A small enamel Red Sox emblem is mounted on frame.
the placard measures 12" by 8"; total 19 by 12.5"
Letter of provenance stating the item belonged to DiMaggio grandchildren and originated from his personal collection.
Some surface scratching on silver.
