Etched in script on bronze plaque on back rail stretcher: This chair belongs to Mrs. Ebenzer Hancock (Miriam Nash) born Weymouth, Mass. May 1750, died May 14th 1830. She was great-great aunt to Mrs. Joseph A. Cashman.
Inspected with upholstery removed from back and sides.
