Prov.: Descended through six generations of the Willson family, originating from Joseph and Sarah (Mathews) of Braintree, Ma. Their son, Luther Willson (1778-1864) became the Unitarian minister at Petersham, MA. The clock has remained in the family until this time. The Alan Day estate of fine Americana was conducted on site by CRN Auctions in 1993
