Persia, poss. late 16th /early 17th c., blue panel with gold signature above doorway
ink and gouache on paper heightened with gold depicting scene with figures presenting baby to man on throne, top line border surmounted with pair of gold dragons; four columns of black ink text in Nasta'liq script; the reverse with four columns of script with blue line border and panel with blue ink script; the right edge indicates page originally bound in book, page measures 13" by 7.75"
