Colombia, 18th c., the top portion a candle socket mounted on an ornate etched base with open rings and three winged females with fish lower body, 17"h, 9"w; mounted on 68" pole; overall 82.5"; total for both 272.4 troy oz
Note: the tubular poles are hollow-no wooden core.
Ex the private collection of a Connecticut gentleman and his wife who resided for ten years in Latin America beginning in 1962. These were purchased from the collection of his Colombian friend in the 1970's.
