This painting was bequeathed to the current owner by her sister, Mrs. Dewhurst of Winchester, MA, who acquired the painting in 1980 as a gift in recognition of her friendship and many years of service as personal secretary to Mrs. Gring, of Cambridge, MA, the original owner of the painting.
