(5) COLLECTION OF EARLY ITALIAN WAX SEALS
one with wood handle, the bronze stamp inscribed S.PIVS.V.MAX; along with a 15th c. round stamp of drooping lily S.BEDINI; another 15th c. arm brandishing a sword crest S.FRANCISCI.DE.VRBINO; another fob-form 15th c. wolf hunted by hounds S.VALLEO,ARCOLA; the last ovoid-form with Madonna and Child S.STEPHIVITVLIRE, dated 1631 on reverse. Each seal comes with example impression.
