This statue of a black clydesdale horse is the logo of the Ross Butler Studio. A multi-talented and well-known man, Butler was a Canadian artist, sculptor, photographer, songwriter, as well as a breeder of Jersey cows and poultry. In the 1930"s the Ontario government commissioned him to paint realistic images of livestock to be used for educational purposes.
One ear glued back on, small nicks here and there.
