CHINESE KANGXI 'CADOGAN' WINE EWER

6"h; 7.5" handle to spout
Lord Cadogan (1676-1726) took a fancy to these strange puzzle ewers and imported them into England as tea pots. The internal structure allows them to be filled from a stopper-less hole in the bottom, and poured upright with no spillage.
