NEW ENGLAND CHIPPENDALE CHERRY BONNET-TOP HIGHBOY
Western Massachusetts, c. 1770, original bat wing brass
swan-neck molded pediment with carved rosettes and original flame finials. Top with fan-carved drawer flanked by two drawers over four graduated long drawers enclosed by fluted corners. Lower case with long drawer over shell-carved drawer flanked by four short drawers, on cabriole legs with shell-carved knees ending in webbed ball and claw feet
