Plaque on frame reads circa 1910. In 1911 Camoin was painting in the South of France. One day during a fit of anger, Camoin destroyed eighty paintings and threw them away. Paintings from this time period are therefore rare.
Family provenance available to buyer. Purchased in the 50's in New York City at a fund raiser for a private school which the owner attended.
